In 2021 and 2022, I went through one of the darkest seasons of my life. I felt deeply depressed, overwhelmed, and lost. My mind was racing, my heart was heavy, and everything felt too much.One of the first things I noticed was this: My cleaning motivation disappeared.I’ve always been a person who loves tidy spaces, fresh smells, and the peace that comes after everything is in order. But during that time, dishes piled up, clothes stayed on chairs, and dust gathered in corners. Every little mess felt like a reflection of how I was doing inside.I remember looking around one day and thinking, “This is not me.” But I also realized something important: It wasn’t laziness. It wasn’t a lack of discipline. It was pain. It was mental health.As I slowly started to heal — through faith, reflection, and support — I noticed something powerful: When I had the strength to clean even one small area, I felt a little bit lighter.
